The cooking is the same kitchen that has served the West End since 1960 - North Indian, Punjabi and Mughlai dishes prepared with Punjabi tandoor, slow braises and the quiet precision that defines the Maharaja standard. The Charing Cross restaurant is open Monday to Sunday, from 12:00 noon to midnight. Lunch, an afternoon table or a late dinner after the National Gallery - the kitchen is serving throughout.
