It is the nearest of our two restaurants to Leicester Square tube, and a short walk from the National Gallery, Trafalgar Square, the London Coliseum and the Palace Theatre. Come before a film, between galleries or after the curtain - the kitchen is open from noon until midnight, seven days a week.
The cooking is the same kitchen that has served the West End since 1960 - North Indian, Punjabi and Mughlai dishes from the tandoor and the slow braise, plated with the quiet precision that defines the Maharaja standard.
