When most kitchens have closed, ours is still going. Our Soho restaurant on Old Compton Street is one of the latest proper Indian kitchens in central London - open until 1am Monday to Thursday and 2am Friday and Saturday, with the full menu served throughout.
It makes Maharaja the natural choice after the theatre, after work or after a night out in Soho. We sit moments from the Soho Theatre, the Prince Edward Theatre and Chinatown, a short walk from Tottenham Court Road and Leicester Square tubes. Whatever the evening has been, there is time for a real dinner at the end of it.
Nearer the theatres? Our Charing Cross dining room, a minute from Leicester Square, serves until midnight every day. Both rooms pour from the same kitchen that has served the West End since 1960 - Punjabi tandoor, Mughlai slow braises and the quiet precision that defines the Maharaja standard.

How late are you open?
Our Soho restaurant on Old Compton Street is one of the latest proper Indian kitchens in central London - open until 1am Monday to Thursday and 2am Friday and Saturday, from noon each day, with Sunday running until midnight. Our Charing Cross dining room serves until midnight every day.
When is last orders?
The kitchen takes orders right up to closing, so there is time for a full meal even when you arrive late. At Soho that means ordering into the small hours on a Friday or Saturday. If your table is running close to closing, arrive and let the team know - they will look after you.
Is the full menu served late?
Yes. This is not a reduced late-night list - our full à la carte is available throughout the evening, the same Punjabi tandoor, Mughlai braises and North Indian cooking we have served the West End since 1960. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are ready too. Tell us any allergies when you book.
Are you good for post-theatre dinner?
