A good meal should never be a race against the curtain. Our pre-theatre menu is built for the West End day - two or three courses, served from noon until 5.30pm, properly cooked and paced to your show time so you arrive at your seat relaxed rather than rushed.
Our dining room sits in the middle of Theatreland, a minute from Leicester Square, with the Garrick and Wyndham's on the same road and the London Coliseum one street over. Tell us where you are headed and we will make sure the timing works, or check our guide to the theatres near our restaurant.
The cooking is the same kitchen that has served the West End since 1960 - Punjabi tandoor, Mughal-style slow braises and the quiet precision that defines the Maharaja standard, in a menu chosen to suit an evening with somewhere to be.

What is on the pre-theatre menu?
Two set menus. Two Courses is onion bhajee or chicken tikka to start, then a traditional chicken curry with pilau rice and naan. The Three Course Special starts with chicken tikka, samosa or onion bhajee, followed by chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, mango chicken or original masala, with pilau rice and naan. Tell us about any allergies or dietary needs when you book.
How much is the pre-theatre menu?

When is it served?
Daily from 12pm to 5.30pm, so it suits matinees, early evening performances and an early dinner before a 7.30pm curtain. Let us know your show time when you book and we will pace the meal so you are never rushed and never late.
How close are you to the theatres?
We are at 19A Charing Cross Road, a minute from Leicester Square tube. The Garrick and Wyndham's are on the same road, the London Coliseum and the Noël Coward are one street over on St Martin's Lane, and the Palace, Phoenix and Prince Edward are a short walk north.
